Barry has worked in the financial services industry since graduating college at UC Davis in 1992. He spent his first 5 years at a major bank becoming a branch manager before getting licensed as a financial advisor in 1996 all after moving back to Sonoma County. After a long career in with his previous institution, Barry has decided to join Grove Wealth Advisors to continue to grow his business with the Grove Wealth Advisors team.
Barry grew up locally graduating from Analy High School like his father, aunt, and uncles. He was first in his family to attend college graduating from the University of California Davis with a B.S. in Managerial and Agricultural Economics. He also played soccer all 4 years and still holds the school record for most shutouts in single season.
He moved back to Sonoma County after college where he met and married Jennifer and has two children. His son, Justin, has continued the family tradition and swims at UC Santa Barbara and set a team relay record in his second-year last year. His daughter, Emily, recently graduated from the University of Arizona honors college summa cum laude.
Since becoming a financial advisor, Barry has continued his education, became a Certified Financial Planner, and Certified Wealth Strategist. He enjoys most getting to know his clients in a way, which creates the most comprehensive tax efficient plan. He enjoys biking, golfing, travel, and watching local sports. He is lifelong San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors fan.
